The Liberty Pen was first designed to be a blog that purveyed an intellectual and emotive release from the political incompetence I observe on a daily basis. My blog was simple by design but I wanted to create a portal that contained more information and looked more professional.

The contents of this site will still pertain to liberty, free minds, free markets, and a constitutionally limited government. Liberty requires active participation for its survival, so in my own way I hope to do my part. I recently wrote one of my Senators and told him his silence is synonymous with abandonment, so I chose Thomas Jefferson’s quote very carefully when I re-designed the logo. Regret is one of my deepest concerns, and the only thing that is worse than having the government take your liberty by force, is to willfully shed your liberty by your own hand. I will make no such mistake.
